Overview
DMV Practice Test is a practice app for learners preparing for a U.S. driver permit test. This page explains how we may collect, use, and protect information when you use the app or website.
Information We May Collect
We may collect basic app usage data, device information, crash logs, selected state, practice progress, saved road signs, and purchase or subscription status when you use paid features.
We may also collect information you provide directly, such as an email address, display name, or support messages.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide practice tests, remember your selected state, improve app performance, diagnose crashes, support users, prevent abuse, and understand which features are useful.
Analytics and Diagnostics
The app and website may use analytics and crash reporting tools to understand usage patterns and fix technical issues. These tools may collect your device type, operating system, app version, session events, page views, referral data, and error logs if you have allowed the relevant category.
Third-Party Services
We may use services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, AdMob, Sentry, Amplitude, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager to operate the app, process purchases, understand usage, measure campaigns, or diagnose technical issues. These services may process data according to their own privacy practices.
Sharing Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help operate the app, process purchases, analyze performance, host services, or respond to support requests.
Children
DMV Practice Test is intended for general driver education practice and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
Your Choices
You may be able to reset practice progress, disable certain device permissions, unsubscribe from communications, or request deletion of information by contacting support. On the website, you can also review or change cookie choices at any time.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion by following the instructions on the Delete Account page or by emailing support. If you use the app without an account, local practice progress can usually be removed by deleting the app from your device.
Not an Official DMV Service
DMV Practice Test is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any state DMV, licensing agency, or government entity. Official requirements should be confirmed with your local DMV.
